This summer I designed 

the 

First Flower of the Year Square!

Originally designed for the Florence dress, 

a lovely lacey summer dress:

As any granny-square, also this one change appearance according to yarn-size and quality, hook size, colors, and color combinations within the rounds. 

The square has 10 rounds, quite large. You can however stop working in any round, and achieve a new square-design and measure, every time.

I have used the full square, half square, or part of the square, in several other projects, with different yarn- and hook-sizes. See samples below.
