FOLD AND CUFF CROCHET SHAWL CARDIGAN!

Have you seen those lovely, over sized shawl-cardigans, looking like a warm embrace of a snuggling blanket?! I wanted one, needed one!
But I had serious problems figuring out how to do it! Both technically and practically.
In the end, it's simple enough, like everything figured out! Even as it was THIS close to be unraveled, several times! Until it's finished, it looks quite strange!
The best with this cardigan is the extra long sleeves with the hand-warming cuffs! Like integrated fingerless gloves!  And...it can be worn up...or down; It's turnable!
I'm so happy with it! I put it on in the morning, and barely want to take it off for bedtime!
Last crochet pattern published, for this year anyhow!
Pattern HERE
Or go directly to the shop!
The body is worked with Herringbone dcs, and the cuffs and edgings
have Pebble-stitches. A nice contrast to the plain crochet surface.

Wear it as a normal cardigan.......

Here you can see the "dolman"-sleeves created by
the special folding of the basic-shawl.

Cozzzy!

Here the cardigan is turned upside/down!

This is the way I'll normally wear it

Here the Herringbone- and the Pebble-stitches are visible.

My best hand-warmers ever!

COMPLETING MY WINTER ENSEMBLE WITH NEW WHITE FINGERLESS "FUR" GLOVES!

These gloves was in fact just meant to style the Winter White Coat,
when shooting the photos.
As a lot of persons have asked me for the pattern;
Here it is!
For the last year, I've been working to design a complete
set for the coat. There are head-band, or ear warmers if you like,
skirt, knee-long socks, boots, and finally the gloves!
Links to the other garments you'll find on the glove-listing,

My lovely winter boots! Perfectly warm with the Aran Cabled socks inside.

The skirt with white lace.

The crochet fabric created with FrontPost-dcs,
are really flexible and warm!

Fury Gloves!

A little piece of art.
But sooo simple to achieve!

CHRISTMAS SET WITH TASSEL HAT AND RED POM POM BOOTIES

Working the red booties (See post below), I grabbed Sophie's
white tassel hat with brown stripes and tassel, unraveled,
and made red stripes instead! Match it must!
With the red tassel, the set came out real cute!
The hat-pattern you'll find HERE

For a cutie baby!

CHRISTMAS BABY WRAP BOOTIES!

I was so curious to see how the little wrap-booties
would look in another color, so here they are in red and white!
The booties are crocheted on the round, in one piece.
The sole visible, is created by the Front- BackPost dcs.

Real cute in red and white!
I replaced the 2 buttons, with 1 pom pom on each shoe!
